What makes the Severance fandom unique?!

Season 2 of Severance recently came to an explosive end, causing a riot of reactions from anger, to understanding, to joy.

Be warned. This post contains major spoilers!

One thing we can all agree on is that the Severance fandom is wild. With each episode taking a week to air, fans had plenty of time to come up with a multitude of theories. Lots involving goats, of course.

Not that we're complaining. Look at how happy our main character Emile is!

Emile is the name of the goat.

We all watched on the edge of our seats as Mark is saved by Gwendoline Christie, in the kind of man vs woman fight scene only Gwendoline Christie could achieve, to take on the evil man who wanted to shoot the aforementioned main character, Emile, followed by the most insane death scene, and the first time someone had ever called someone else "fucko" ever, probably.

All this while Milkshake is giving the performance of his life in a dance performance with a matching band after having a diss match with a wax figure.

What is this show about again?

Helly R yellow dress with maraca dancing to defiant jazz
If you haven't watched it yet, get your maraca out for the most defiant music dance experience imaginable.

The severance fandom were quick to jump on Helena posing as Helly R in the first few episodes too! It's only after watching the season again that I could really appreciate all the subtle ways Britt Lower conveyed this to us, without making it a dead giveaway.

But, in Helly's words, Irving knew... (Queue to a very soggy and freaked out Helena).

We can agree that Irv is one smart dude. And he clearly cared deeply enough about Helly to give his life for her, and for the safety of his friends.

There are still many unanswered questions for the show to address next season. Here are some that I can think of:
  1. What will become of the innies on the Severed floor?
  2. What caused Mark and Helly's faces to drop in the final shot?
  3. Where are Mark and Helly running to?
  4. Will Cobel fully turn against Lumon and Kier?
  5. Is Milchick going to have a character arc and join the innies side?
  6. Will Natalie allow Milchick to break down her walls and connect with him?
  7. Did Gemma make it out of the Lumon building?
  8. What is Jame's plan for Helly / Helena?
  9. Does Mark end up fully reintegrating?
  10. Will Irving be back, and if so, as an investigator?
  11. What is Ricken's story, and how did him and Devon end up together?!
  12. Who voiced Kier's wax figure?
  13. Could Helena turn against Lumon?
  14. Are we going to get Season 3 within a year?!

If you have any theories, let me know, because I am one of those Severance fans that scrolls through Reddit reading as many as I can.
