This is a gentle, supportive and uplifting journal for anyone who struggles with stress and anxiety, in the form of phobias, social anxiety, generalised anxiety (GAD), chronic worrying, panic attacks, obsessive compulsive tendencies and anger.

My Wellness Journalprovides prompts to support your journalling, as well as blank pages for you to freely express yourself. Each gratitude journalpage also contains a different positive affirmation.

At the front, there are a collection of CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy) and DBT (dialectical behavioural therapy) self-help tools, including practical tools and mindfulness exercises. These tools will teach you how to self-soothe in overwhelming situations (I.e when you feel a panic attack coming on), enable you to understand your thoughts and emotions, teach you how to manage over-thinking and worry, provide you with practical tools to combat phobias and teach you how to live a more mindful life.

I have specifically chosen these
proven fifteen tools from my personal experiences as an anxiety and panic attack sufferer, because I know they work! These tools are used by psychiatrists, psychologists and psychotherapists to help treat people struggling with anxiety disorders, stress, anger management, and obsessive compulsive tendencies.

Why choose this journal?

If you are here, the chances are you are looking for something to help you manage your mental health and well-being; think of this journal as your mental health first aid kit! While putting it together, I asked myself what would have benefitted me when I was struggling the most with my anxiety, and how could I create something that would help someone else in that situation. The answer was not pages and pages of worksheets with long-winded descriptions and far more writing than I would have ever read; it was something far simpler and less mentally taxing.

That’s why this journal consists only of what I call my
“mental wellness necessities” (I.e. the 15 tools in the self-help toolkit) with simple explanations, and inviting, illustrated pages designed to feel less mentally taxing and easier to follow than words alone. The journal pages with gratitude prompts take away the overwhelm of a blank page. I myself find it far easier to start with some prompts, and progress to a blank page from there.

By incorporating a routine of gratitude and mindfulness, you too can
train your brain to worry less, and achieve peace and calm.

Very helpful

I bought this for a friend and she has found it really helpful. Anxiety is different for different people and different things can help different people. There were some really great tools in this book that she could relate to.

This was a great find. There's loads of self help books out there but this is practical and with some really practical tips and tools to help manage anxiety and general wellbeing. It also has a great structured approach to get into journaling of just recording and processing your thoughts without the pressure of doing it every day. Good work!
